MEGSTIM is a Pegfilgrastim Injection (r-DNA origin), a long-acting granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) used to reduce the risk of infection (neutropenia) in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Pegfilgrastim stimulates the bone marrow to produce more white blood cells, enhancing the body’s defense against infections.
